Does this replace my accountant?

No — and it shouldn't. Summed is a record-keeping tool that makes your accountant's job faster and cheaper. One-click exports give them everything they need. Think of it as the bridge between your daily business and tax time.

Is my data secure?

Your financial data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), and passwords are securely hashed with bcrypt. We host on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure (Railway, currently in the United States) that is SOC 2 Type II certified. Our data handling complies with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and all 13 Australian Privacy Principles — see our Privacy Policy for the full cross-border disclosure under APP 8. Your data is only visible to you — and your accountant, if you invite them.

I have a shoebox of receipts. Can Summed help?
